SYNTRAN® 5905 is ：STYRENE/ACRYLATES COPOLYMER

SYNIRAN® 5905 is a water-based styrene-acrylic emulsion which is designed to modify the visual appearance of personal care products such as liquid shampoos,bath and shower products,liquid hand soaps,from clear to opaque without affecting the other desired properties.

SYNTRAN® opacifiers improve brightness and whiteness,can be used at significantly lower levels,and have excellent formulation stability.

Key attributes include：

SYNTRAN® 5905 should preferably be added at the end in the manufacturing cycle(i.e. after final adjustment).

To prevent potential “shock”,the product can be pre-diluted with soft or deionized water at a range of 1 part opacifier to 3-4 parts water prior use.The addition of opacifier to the base product needs to be made very slowly under good agitation.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Storage

SYNTRAN® 5905 is not freeze-thaw stable and should therefore be kept at temperature of 5℃ to 35℃.

SYNTRAN® 5905 is very stable in original containers and storage tanks at ambient temperature for at least 6 months.

Open containers should be checked on a regular basis for and protected against bio-contamination if necessary.

If SYNTRAN® 5905 is stored in a diluted from,a preservative is required.

Safety

We know of no ill effects that could result from using SYNTRAN® 5905 for the purpose of which it is intended and from processing it in accordance with current practice.According to the experience we have gained,and other information at our disposal,SYNTRAN® 5905 does not exert any harmful effects on health,provided that it is used properly,due attention is given to the precautions necessary for handling chemicals,and the information and advice given in our Safety Data Sheet are observed.

Handling

All contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided.Safety glasses must be worn when handling this product.
